Welcome to La Maison du Cadran Solaire (The House of the Sundial), Guest House/Bed and Breakfast (Chambre d'Hotes) in the department of the Tarn, in Southern France. We are situated on the edge of Mazamet, a small market town within 50 minutes of Carcassonne and 75 minutes of Toulouse. Both cities have flights from the UK and beyond.

We welcome visitors from far and near to join us in our family home to sample the delights of a small provincial French town. Although only 10 minutes walk from the Town Centre, we are at the end of a quiet no through road on the northern slopes of the Montagne Noire, an area of outstanding natural beauty and a favourite of walkers and cyclists.

We are registered with CléVacances who have graded our Blue room with 3 keys (Tres bon confort). We have 2 other unclassified (but superior) rooms with restricted height doorways (Less than 2 metres, hence no classification) also available.

We can accomodate singles, couples and families all year round. Guests are welcome to join us for a special family Christmas and New year celebration.
