Sample Programme

Day 1:
Collect from airport or railway station.
Afternoon tea at La Maison du Cadran Solaire.
Orientation walk around Mazamet town centre.
Dinner.
Evening Activities (Dependent on age of pupils).

Day 2:
Breakfast
Visit local market. Use transactional French.
Morning Coffee/drinks in town.
An hour at leisure.
Lunch.
Visit to local school/museum/grottes.
Study time.
Dinner.
Evening Activity.

Day 3:
Breakfast
Visit local valley and look at rock formations.
Visit the Sidobre (Granite hills to the North of Mazamet).
Lunch.
Afternoon visit to Castres with its riverside town centre, churches, museums, and many small shops.
Study time.
Dinner.
Evening Activity.

Day 4:
Breakfast
Day trip to the Mediterranean coast visiting Beziers, Les Neuf Ecluses, La Canal du Midi, le Opodium d’Enserune and Valspar plage.  (Packed Lunch or Lunch out)
Dinner.
Evening Activity.

Day 5:
Breakfast
Visit Pic Nor, the Lac des Montagnes and the medieval village of Hautpoul.
Lunch.
Free Afternoon.
Study time.
Dinner.
Evening Activity.

Day 6:
Breakfast
Delivery to airport or railway station.

This can be extended or shortened to suit and the arrival and departure days would be arranged around your timetable. We have Wifi access and older study groups will need to bring their own Wifi enabled laptops. Contact us for a more detailed discussion of your curricular needs.
